Therakles Pharmaceuticals AG is a Swiss-based, seed-stage radiopharma company founded in 2024. Our Technology
Fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is highly expressed in the stroma of many solid tumours and is scarce in most healthy adult tissues. We use FAP to deliver fluorine-18 for PET/CT imaging and lutetium-177 for radioligand therapy — a theranostic pair designed for an improved therapeutic index and for existing radiopharmacy infrastructure.
What differentiates our technology?
Structurally distinct from first-generation FAP inhibitors, with higher in-vitro affinity and slower dissociation from the target (vs. FAPI-46).
A metabolically stable, polar linker designed to reduce off-target binding.
Improved tumour uptake and retention versus monomeric benchmarks in preclinical models (vs. FAP-2286).
Matched to established NOTA- and DOTA-based chelators and to 18F / 177Lu, so the pair can run on existing radiopharmacy infrastructure.
Intellectual property
The clinical structures are covered by a Composition-of-Matter family, exclusively licensed to Therakles with national-phase applications filed and under examination across key jurisdictions.
